Here it is, fresh from the eternal snow banks of Barrie, a sign of hope.
When I saw this sign on my neighbor's lawn suddenly appear, I realized that it had been hidden under a snow drift since Christmas and was now visible again after the recent Spring thaw.
Well, surely there is a message in that picture for all of us.
There is a verse in the psalms that reads:
"Weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning"
Here is my Canadian 21st century version of that psalm:
"Though you may feel as if you have been engulfed by problems and your life and hope have been in deep freeze, HANG ON, the sun is still shining and your joy will again be restored to you"
Notice that in the center of this arrangement is the Lord Jesus Christ. There was no room for Him at the inn.
Make sure there is ALWAYS a place for Him in your heart and hope, peace and joy will be there with Him.

Today,against all odds, Bibi Netanyahu
and his Likud party pulled off a stunning electoral victory in Israel. I
say "against all odds" because it had been widely and confidently
predicted by the pollsters that his era was over: the left wing Zionists
were going to trounce him. But, lo today, he will be Israel's longest
serving prime minister.
Not only is his triumph in defiance of
the polls, it is also in defiance of the European Union and the Obama
administration in the United States. Bibi has thumbed his nose at the
concept of a two state solution with the Palestinians, has promised to
accelerate new housing projects in East Jerusalem and has put Iran on
notice that there will be no nuclear bomb produced by them on his watch.
This has further isolated Israel from
the rest of the 'international community' and left this tiny country
with virtually no friends: no friends, that is, except God and the
evangelical church community around the world.
In the end that coalition will be
sufficient for, when the battle of Armageddon begins, (read about it in 2
Thessalonians 2) that little nation will once again come out on top.
It pays to be called "the chosen people"

I just had to include the latest photos out from Iraq.
Those ISIS people have been at it again. Look at what they have done to Saddam Hussein's tomb in Tikrit.
Here is a shot of before and after.
It didn't take long for this dictator, once installed as Iraq's president for life, to be consigned to the trash can of history; by his own people no less.
But in Jerusalem there is a tomb that has been empty for two thousand years. Don't bother searching for the body of it's former occupant. He alive and well in Heaven shortly to return to earth to put the record straight as to Who is really in charge down here.
