Apple vs FBI

After the San Bernadino shooting, Rizwan Farook's cell phone was found in a dumpster next to his home. It follows that the FBI wanted to de-code all the relevant information. However, they were unable to break the password and the two terrorists weren't offering to comply since they were both shot dead.
Any reasonable person would think that Apple, the maker of the smart phone, would offer the code in order to cough up the names of any others associated with the crime.
Not so. Pleading piety and the sacrosanct nature of all their customer's data, they have refused to break into the phone's archives; a memory that would no doubt reveal the names of the accomplices of America's worst terror crime since 911.
They WILL be made to comply but not until high-court action forces their hand. By that time any of the original gang of Islamists will be back in the caves of Afghanistan, ready to plot their next move using their Apple smart phones.
Yes, it's true. The lunatics really are running the asylum!

Jubilate any way.

Scalia

Supreme Court Judge Anthony Scalia was buried yesterday with full honours: and rightly so.
He will be greatly missed, as was evidenced by an empty chair draped in black when the court resumed sitting, their session having been suspended because of his death.
The judge, appointed by President Reagan, was a true conservative; eloquent and outspoken on everything from abortion to homo- sexual 'marriage'.
He was the father of nine children and had a small tribe of grand-children. He was also married to the same wife for fifty-some years. He lived out and epitomized the traditional American family and modeled, as well as upheld, traditional American values.
Although a committed Roman Catholic he enquired loudly why there was no evangelical christian among the panel of nine Supreme Court judges.
And why not we may ask, since there are an estimated 70 million evangelical Christians in America? WHY NOT?
Well my friends it is because of the same bias and bigotry that Christians have to endure in their daily lives in EVERY walk of life in the Western World.
A world that has dismissed the Bible as a fairy story, that refuses prayer in public schools and that has taken the Ten Commandments down from the walls of Court Rooms. Small wonder there is no evangelical judge on the roster, neither will one be appointed by President Obama. Count on it.
Ah, but should Donald Trump win the election........ now that's another story.
Jubilate.
