Trump's New Conference. What you didn't hear.

The news that most people DIDN'T hear after President Elect Trump's news conference yesterday was, for me, more intruiging than the question and answer time.
For an hour before the press conference itself, patriotic music was played through the great ball room. Then, when all reporters were assembled, the Battle Hymn of the Republic was broadcast at full volume.
It was a spectacle to behold. A hundred reporters of every hue and colour having to listen to this grand old christian hymn, which was immediately followed by the national anthem.
On every side of this bevy of reporters (representatives of all the syndicated and corporate news organizations) were stood ranks of Trump's staff and cabinet who outnumbered the media two to one.
When question time came, Trump allowed questions from conservative news reporters (who have been largely ignored for eight years under Obama). There was no attempt to placate those who for years had biased and falsified news in favour of the liberal left.
Finally, when asked when the new signings of executive orders would begin, Trump said: "Not on inauguration day and not the day after because THAT WILL BE A DAY FOR CHURCH!"
Ladies and gentlemen a new day has truly dawned.
Let's make the most of it.

Jubilate.

Ian
