Hollywood Babylon.

Did we ever believe that an industry built upon the packaging, promotion and slick presentation of SEX would fail to have sexual predators in the head office?
This week, Harvey Weinstein, one of Hollywood's icons of power and prestige, was exposed in full frontal as one of the worst perpetrators in Sin City.
After the New York Times broke news of his sexual predations of young starlets under his patronage, a whole line up of women have come forward to tell their stories: accounts of the most sordid and salacious type of abuse that have finished Weinstein's career, led to his firing from the company he founded and to the departure of Georgina Chapman, his wife of ten years.
These revelations should not surprise us. Two weeks ago Hugh Hefner, pornographer-in-chief was put in a crypt next to Marylyn Monroe, the sex symbol of the sixties.
Now another living incarnation arises to take his place.
I have chosen the fallen statues of the mighty moguls of Mount Nimrod  as my lead picture for this post.
Why? Two thousand years ago these were the giants that walked the earth; proud, unchallenged and monopolistic. They are now no more than headless relics with sightless eyes and broken feet, mouldering on a mountain top in Turkey. So it will be for all the godless, vain-glorious and arrogant who set themselves against the standards and rule of Almighty God.
Don't believe me? Ask Joseph Stalin. They just sold his bronze statue for scrap in Moscow.
Jubilate.

Ian
