BALFOUR 100 YEARS LATER.

Big celebrations in London and in Israel.
Prime-minister, Teresa May, hosted Benjamin Netanyhu to a state banquet last night to commemorate the declaration of Lord Balfour made in London one hundred years ago.
His few words, issued as acting foreign secretary, changed the course of history.
The phrase, embraced with joy by the Jewish people and cursed as anathema by the Palestinian Arabs read as follows:
"His majesty's Government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home land for the Jews"
From that moment onwards to the end of the British Mandate in 1948 there was a huge immigration of Jews from different parts of the earth, particularly from Russia and Europe.
Despite Arab accusations of an illegal Jewish occupation of their land, history shows that most of it was sold by Arab landowners to the new immigrants. They were quite happy to take their money at inflated prices.
Since 1948 there have been a succession of wars in which the Palestinians have lost even more territory as they have blindly pursued their hateful goal of the extermination of the nation of Israel.
Will this ever end? Not until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ with power to this Earth when, the Bible says, He shall rule the nations with a rod of iron.
Sounds good to me, since all other forms of government have failed.
"Even so Lord Jesus come quickly"

Jubilate.
Ian
