Australia: The Latest in the Slouch Towards Gomorrah.

The celebrations were loud, long and raucous. No, Australia had not won the Ashes cricket trophy: they had just voted to introduce homosexual marriage into their brave new nation.

Wow, how they have grown up in the last hundred years.

But while the beer flowed and the rainbow flags waved, the darker side of the affair is now being assessed.

Across the country churches were defaced and slogans smeared, spewing hatred against any and all that may object to the depravity of same-sex marriage (as if such an unnatural institution could ever exist in the first place)

Count on it, this matter is not yet over. The emboldening of homosexuals KNOWS NO END. Their demands will be INSATIABLE.

In two months time the Australian Open Tennis tournament will  begin and the opening round will be the Margaret Court Arena versus the LGBT lobby of Australia calling for her name to be removed from the stadium. Why?

Because this lady, the greatest among the female tennis greats, is a pastor who has openly countered the rush towards Sodom in the sport.

Now wait and see. 

By the way isn't the game of tennis played within boundaries and with long established rules of refereeing and etiquette?

Well, my Australian friends, the latest referendum has removed the moral boundaries from your nation and trashed a centuries old rule book.

 Silence!        I hear the sound of approaching hoof beats!

Madman Manson is Done and Almost Dusted

Charles Manson, leader of the notorious killing cult called the Manson family is currently clinging to life in a California hospital, not expected to live out the week. When he is gone he really will be dusted, in a crematorium and the ashes will be scattered where they cannot be collected and made into a shrine by the crazoids out there.

In the late 1960's Manson had gathered around him a band of groupies who came under his evil, hypnotic influence. These stooges were sent out on killing expeditions under the name of "Helter Skelter",  a term taken from one of the Beatles songs. The most ghastly of the family's executions was the murder of the actress Sharon Tate, who at the time was eight months pregnant, and four others who were with her in the house.

Since no mercy was granted to the victims of the crimes and no remorse shown when the gang were arrested and tried, there was no mercy granted when they were sentenced. The verdict of guilty was followed by life imprisonment without our parole.

Manson, himself, in later interviews showed not a tinge of regret for sending his followers on their death errands.

"I laid down the rails and they ran on them" He boasted. "I piped the music and they danced to the tunes."

How complete can a cult leader's control be?  With only a couple of exceptions, the members of the 'family' remain in custody to this day. Thankfully one of them, Tex Watson, has made his peace with God and founded a prison ministry called " Love Abounding".

As for the rest, we trust that they will avail themselves of God's offer of forgiveness through His Son Jesus. There is room in His "Forever " Family even for them.

ISIS Bring 'em All Home and We Will Look After Them

The hand wringing and introspection has all begun. This week the last ISIS bastions in Iraq and Syria have fallen and the Caliphate of tyranny and terror has collapsed.

Now what to do about the hundreds of prisoners that are rounded up in camps across Iraq and Syria.

Since these are the thugs and monsters that have beheaded, burned, raped and pillaged over the last four years, the Iraqis and Kurds,(who hold the most P.O.W. s) seem to have no problem. Summary executions are taking place with little or no examination or trial.

Pretty much the way in which the victims of the Caliphate were treated.

But now the United Nations Human and Civil Rights Council have gotten involved. Don't forget,  these are the people who know better than the rest of us.

Here is a quote from the lead advocate. "It is important to remember that these misguided Islamists still have a part in our "shared humanity". We should never exclude them from the common inter-national family. Justice must prevail and they must have their due rights given them as with all the other members of our race."

In other words, bring the four hundred British born Jihadists back home and house them in her Majesty's Prisons at $100,000 a year, until we figure out what to do with them.

Two weeks ago, when the British Foreign Secretary mused that it would be better for everybody if these Jihadists were killed on the battle field, he was branded as Neanderthal.

Maybe he is, and maybe you and I and people like us are the real cavemen in this Age of New Enlightenment.
