Manchester Bombing. Hero to Zero overnight.

Chris Parker, 31 years old and of no fixed address was hailed as  a hero after the Manchester Arena bombing three months ago.
Parker was seen in the immediate aftermath of the explosion visiting various injured patrons, apparently giving words of comfort and solace with no regard to his own safety.
He was instantly dubbed as a hero and a "crowd fund" was launched to recognize his selfless acts: $ 78,000:00 were raised.
But there is not  a happy ending to this story.
It turns out that Parker, while he was giving support and ministration to the injured, was also helping himself to their belongings.
One lady, a certain Pauline Healy, was badly hurt with her grand daughter lying dead a few feet away.
Parker took her hand bag and within hours had used her bank card at a local restaurant.
All of this "too-good-to-true-story" has now made headlines in the British press and Parker has been arrested. He was found hiding in a loft in the town of Halifax some sixty miles away.
He is heading back to jail (having been there before) but this time not only as a felon but as a caitiff and a poltroon. They are old english words to describe the lowest of the low.
What is the moral of the story?
Draw your own conclusion. But isn't the Bible true when it says of the human heart: "It is desperately wicked and who can know it." One man kills indiscriminately; another pillages the victims.
Such is life on planet Earth until the New One comes.

Jubilate anyway.
