What a land of make believe and the unbelievable.
Today, leading cinema chains in England banned a 60 second advert of children, farm workers, refugees and housewives saying The Lord's Prayer. This harmless commercial was to be aired before Star Wars and other newly minted movies but was deemed to be too dangerous since "it might offend others of differing faiths or those of no faith at all."
Beam me up Scotty!
After a week of havoc, mayhem and hell wreaked by the radicals of Islam, the mild, gentle Church of England led by it's mild, inoffensive Archbishop was banned from a 60 second prayer of unity by the leading media chains of Britain.
Surely it MUST be clear to every unprejudiced mind that there is a Devil in the world and that he controls the minds of the cigar-smoking moguls of the media empire.
Bloodshed, adultery, perversion, cheating, havoc, murder-most foul, horror, fraud and infidelity let's have it by the cart load but O never, never let children be seen praying in our cinemas. TOO DANGEROUS! It would give the wrong impression and, who knows, somebody might be offended.
I rest my case.
Good night and, dare I say it, GOD BLESS.
