"NO" Which part of the word don't you understand?

"The shouting and the tumult dies.
The captain and the kings depart,
Still stands the ancient sacrifice,
A humble and a contrite heart.
O Lord of Hosts be with us yet,
Lest we forget, lest we forget"

But quite obviously the "YES" side of the Scottish Referendum Campaign DID forget.
They forgot the 1715 uprising to reverse the Act of Union between England and Scotland signed a decade before.
They forgot that, when they came out in 1745 for home rule, it ended in a further disaster at the battle of Culloden Moor.
And now a third attempt to put asunder what God has most certainly joined together has ended in failure.
For almost 60 years, until the death of 'Bonnie Prince Charlie', the people who were after Scottish independence were called "The people of the old leaven" Yesterday, and after millions in wasted dollars and hot air, they failed again.
Let us hope that these old Jacobites finally get the message and be content with their Haggis, bagpipes, kilts and queen so that "YES" and "NO" might enjoy a Happy Hogmany together.

Jubilate.
