I had a number of kind comments on yesterday's post on the Powerball winners.
It has prompted me to tell you another story.
About ten years ago I was flying from Canada to Salt Lake City.
Sitting next to me was a passenger on his way to Las Vegas.
Before I de-planed I asked him where he was going.
"To the Casinos, of course!"
I replied that I had bet everything I had over 40 years ago and come up a big winner.
Instantly I had his attention.
"Was it Black Jack? Was it the Crap tables? or was it a poker game?"
"None of them." I responded. "Over 40 years ago I bet my whole life on the person and promises of Jesus Christ. I was an instant winner and have been every day since!"
My friend was stunned for a moment and then he burst out.
"You know I really admire you. That puts faith in a new light for me."
Perhaps it did but he stayed in his seat and went on to gamble his money in Las Vegas.

It's the Perfect number that stands for God and if you trust in Him you will never be a loser.
