A beauty pageant with a difference

Hail to the organizers and competitors of the 2012 Miss Taiwan contest.

The word has been spoken that any among this bevy of beauties who engages in promiscuous conduct will face disqualification

There will be no adultery, sexual philandering or any behaviour that will tarnish the good name of their country and the pageant itself.

Someone seems to have finally understood that womanly beauty is more than curves, alluring smiles and catwalk performance; it actually includes the qualities of a pure-heart, personal dignity and sound character which, in themselves, are of immeasurable worth.

Perhaps , when the competition is over, they can do a tour of the West which cries out for the re-discovery of these virtues.

A thought for the day.

Jubilate

Ian
