The rise of the Super Bugs

If the title of this post sounds dramatic, IT IS MEANT TO BE.

Frightening news is emerging from the laboratories of medicine where the battle is being lost on the front line in the war on BUG WORLD.
In the 1950's a whole new arsenal of drugs was developed to fight against infections and diseases that had long plagued humanity.

We will call this family of wonder drugs, 'antibiotics'

Now, sixty years later, the microbes and germs that were once exterminated with such ease and completeness have staged a dramatic return.

A new breed has arisen among the seething hordes of pathogens. They are called THE SUPER BUGS.

This strain of pathogen has learned to DEFY all modern medicines and has brought giant pharmaceutical companies to the end of their resources in trying to produce a counter action to their deadly effect.
Strangely enough the most prolific breeding ground of these new monsters is in HOSPITALS, the very place where care and cures have formerly been wrought.

What is been called for is radical change in our thinking.

Everything, from what we eat to our sexual practices needs to be soberly considered, since, first and foremost among the drug resistant diseases, are S.T.D.s, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Makes you think doesn't it?
