The Joy of a Miracle

I'm happy to report good news in the midst of a world gone mad.
A couple of weeks ago I visited my daughter on vacation in the lake district of Ontario.
While we were relaxing by the lake shore she remarked that her friend, who was sitting nearby, had cancer. She was a young, blond- haired, sweet looking lady and, what added to the tragedy of her situation, was that she was a mother of four.
The doctors had said she had but a short time to live.
My daughter, Sharon, knows that I am likely to pray for anything that moves, so she was not surprised when I went over to introduce myself. Before I left I laid hands on this young lady and implored that God would heal her and extend her years that she could live to see her grand-children.
Shortly after Pauline and I were on our way home.
On Sunday I called in to see Sharon at her farm just outside the city of Barrie.
I was greeted by the wonderful news that her friend had phoned her in great excitement to say that her MRI had come back clear. The doctors are amazed. No sign of cancer!
Hallelujah. "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever"

Jubilate.

Ian.
