He is a hero among the millions in the Philippines where he is a native son.
He is affectionately known as "Manny the Hammer" and this week he delivered a straight right to the jaw of the devil himself when he stepped into the battle for morality.
Commenting on the biology of human beings Paquiao asked a simple question. "How is it that animals know the difference between the male and female of their species but human beings are confused?" He went on to add that male donkeys, not generally known for their intelligence, can recognize the difference between their own sexes but human beings don't seem to have that ability. He then mused that homosexuals are therefore worse than animals. This has caused uproar among the LGBT community but Paquiao, used to a good brawl, is not backing down. In fact he has posted his testimony alongside a photo of his wife. He writes that "Once this matter would not have concerned me but now I am a believer in Jesus and my story is summed up in 2 Corinthians 5:17.
"If any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creature:old things have passed away, all things have become new."
