Tuning in

We sure live in a noisy world and it seems to be getting noisier.

Each day is a cacaphony of cell phones, twitter, I pods, T.Vs and, of course, traffic.

How to hear God's voice in the face of this daily uproar?

In the Great Depression the Western Union advertised for a Telegraph man. These were the days of Morse code.

About fifty men showed up for the job. They were all milling around outside the main office waiting to be interviewed.

Suddenly one of the group headed for the office door and disappeared inside. Three minutes later he came out and said:
"All you guys can go home. I've been hired."

Someone asked him "How come?"

He replied: "While you were all talking, the boss in there tapped out a message in Morse code: 'The first person that comes into my office gets the job'. None of you heard. But I did, and I've been hired."

That's a good illustration about being tuned in.

Get on God's wave-length today and stay tuned. You'll be amazed what you will learn.
