Islam: yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The year is 642 A.D. and the Mohammedans have arrived in Alexandria, Egypt.

In this city is one of the wonders of the ancient world - The Great Library. 2000 years of human history are enshrined in its tablets, parchments and papyrus scrolls.

Caliph Omar speaks thus: "Any books that speak contrary to the Koran are blasphemous; any that speak in support of the Koran are superfluous. Burn them all!"

And so the bath-house fires were stoked for several weeks with the irreplaceable treasures of the Great Library of Alexandria.

Learning. Who needs it?

Now turn the clock forward to New York 2011. AD. The House of Patents. Herein are several million patents of inventions that have changed the world.

Over 93% come from the Christian West. Less than 1% come from Islamic dominated countries.

" Learning. Who needs it?"

Let me echo the words of my college professor. "You must think, Gentlemen, think!"

Food for your breakfast thoughts.
