Harper and the Israeli Knesset

Yesterday, for the first time in history, a Canadian prime minister stood and spoke to the Parliament of Israel.
He did a magnificent job.
Two Arab members of the Knesset angrily denounced Stephen Harper as a stooge of Israel and walked out.
Unperturbed, he continued with his speech, and pledged Canada's unequivocal support for the Middle East's only true democracy.

He then addressed:
1) The mounting hostility towards Israel from the preponderance of countries represented in the U.N. with their calls for boycotts and sanctions.
2) The charges of racism and apartheid that Israel lives with daily from the member nations of the European Union
3) The intellectual bigotry that emanates from Western Universities towards invited speakers from Israel.
4) The constant and ever-growing calls for the destruction of Israel from its surrounding neighbors.

In other words he described the very signs that are given in the Bible that presage the Last Days and the return of Christ to planet Earth.
Well done Stephen Harper. When you received your third standing ovation, I added my own with a tear in my eye.
Jubilate.
Ian.
